What is Leichhardt Marrickville Community Transport Group?
Community Transport is a door to door transportation service. It helps people who can’t afford or have difficulty using private or public transport.
We are a not-for-profit service that has been providing transport services since 1983. We believe in equal access so everyone can access the facilities and services they need.
NSW Community Transport services in NSW are determined by where you live. We provide services for people living in the former Leichhardt and Marrickville Local Government Areas (now part of the Inner West Council).
Not sure whether you’re covered by our service areas?
We also hire out vehicles and drivers to qualifying incorporated organisations.
We have Coaster and Sprinter buses up to 21 seats and modern Honda Odyssey station wagons.
They are late model buses and vans and have accessibility features. Some of them have wheelchair access.
LCTG is pleased to release its latest outings calendar. Book anytime in the booking period as shown in the Calendar and we will do our best to accommodate you. Due to the popularity of our outings and our available capacity, we will try to prioritise clients who either have not been able to go on an outing, or have not been able to go on outing for some time. Leichhardt Community Transport Group (LCTG) has put in an application for a 2018 Community Building Grant in the Summer Hill electorate. We have applied for a grant to buy a hybrid car to deliver more transport services to our Clients with limited mobility in the inner west in an environmentally sustainable manner. Leichhardt Community Transport Group (LCTG) is keen to understand what Clients like and dislike about our services and how our services can best meet your needs. As part of the LCTG Strategic Plan 2017 – 2020, we will be seeking such feedback from our Clients. This may involve postal surveys, interviews over the phone and out on the road, and focus groups.
