Who we are
Leichhardt Marrickville Community Transport Group (LMCTG) has provided transport services since 1983. We cover both the Leichhardt and Marrickville Municipalities, which are adjacent to and directly west of the City of Sydney.
Community Transport is about equal access – transport to access all the facilities and services that everyone needs.
Our aim is to address the transport needs of people who cannot use, cannot access, or cannot afford, public or private transport.
Service Coverage Area
All Community Transport services in NSW are available on a geographic basis. It’s not where you want to go that counts – it’s where you live. LMCTG Provides services for people living in the Leichhardt and Marrickville Local Govt Areas (Council areas).

Some LMCTG vehicles and drivers are available for hire Monday – Friday to qualifying incorporated organisations.
We have Toyota Coaster vehicles available. All are late models, have accessibility features, and two of these vehicles have wheelchair access. If your organisation is interested in hiring a vehicle and driver, please email your enquiry to us.

On 1 July 2015, the transition to the CHSP began. The CHSP is one of the changes being made to help older people stay independent and in their homes and communities for longer. New door to door shopping service the ‘Marrickville Shopper’ starts in 2013.The service operates weekly on a Thursday and takes Marrickville residents shopping to Marrickville Metro, and in time will travel to Leichhadt MarketPlace. There are 2 pick-ups on a Thursday. The first pick-up commences at 8.45am and the second pick-up at 10.30am.
